“Kostanay-Invest 2018” is an open dialogue between representatives of entrepreneurship and authority, a unique platform to look into the possibility of investing in Kostanay region in four economic sectors: agricultural, mining and smelting, machine building and tourism. The Forum provides a platform to share experience between entrepreneurs, discuss issues how to improve business environment in the region, and present a list of investment projects to develop Kostanay region.
About Kostanay region
Kostanay region is located in the northern Kazakhstan and was established in 1936. The region includes: 16 districts and 4 regionally governed cities. The administrative center is Kostanay city which was founded in 1879 and located on the bank of the Tobol River. It touches four Kazakh regions (Aktobe, Karaganda, Akmola and North Kazakhstan) and is adjacent to three Russian regions (Orenburg, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan). The region’s area is 196 thousand square kilometers (7.7% of the total area of Kazakhstan)
